Can you use beach sand for pavers.

No, you need to use a coarse "concrete" sand.

Hi BLUEBOY,

 

You can use any sand for pavers. 

 

The paver base layer that is under the leveling sand might require aggregate to support additional weight for a driveway, for instance, but the layer of leveling sand beneath the pavers and the sand that will be swept in between the stones afterwards can be any kind of sand.
