Hi Rejanssen1, welcome to the community. Good question as there are multiple blade available for cutting all kinds of material. There are sever blades available just to cut ply wood.

Some of the differences in blades depend on rough cutting, fine cutting, curved or straight cuts.

I use a Bosch T shank, model T308B for straight cuts. This is for fine cutting, meaning very little tear out top and bottom of the plywood.

I use a Bosch T101AO for curved cuts. This is a great blade for making fine curved cuts. Go into your local Home Depot tool department and have one of the associates show you the full line of jig saw blades.

If your jigsaw does not take a T shank type blade, Bosch also has blades in the U shank (universal) design.

I hope that answered your question. Please post a picture of your finished project.
