Is it possible to convert an above mount sink to an undermount sink?  We have quartz countertops.

Hello jaimeschroeder7 and welcome to the community.  An undermount sink would create a great look with those quartz countertops.

Depending on the exact build of your sink and construction of your countertop this may or may not be possible.  Some sinks are made to be installed either above or below and are referred to as dualmount.

One problem you may run into when trying to convert your existing sink into an undermount is the way the lip of the countertop and sink meet.  Because the countertop was originally cut to have a sink fit into it, when moving the sink below you may find it leaves you with an unpleasant lip. I've also included a link to the Sink Buying guide which contains more information.  I hope this helps and best of luck.
