screen door

I recently purchased a no-tools-required screen door that uses velcro and a tension rod to hold it to the door frame. Is it possible to upgrade this screen by using wood molding to turn it into an open / close screen door, or is it better to just buy a complete outdoor screen door?

I think that the amount of trouble it would be to build a frame and attach that screen would be very time consuming.  Already made screen doors are designed to endure opening and closing without loosing it's strength and integrity.  A hand built frame may sag and become loose over time and not properly close.

This wooden framed screen door is less that $25 at your Home Depot store.  An associate can help you with instructions and hardware needed to install it yourself.
