ventilation

How do I ventilate a modified A-frame ceiling?  I am planning to insulate and drywall all the way up to the peak of the ceiling.

Howdy Shang,

Welcome to the Home Depot Community for starters. Let's discuss some options and ideas about ventilating your modified A-frame ceiling.

Before starting such a ambitious project I would recommend contacting a licensed contractor through our new service  "Red Beacon" or at least a licensed local contractors to get a quote on what it might cost. Your roof is like plumbing, electrical, or gas...something that is essential and not for beginners.

One option to get a product like GAF Attic Intake Ventilation system to allow air to travel from inside to outside.

Remember, your city might require a permit for a project like this, so a contractor is the way to go.

Happy Building,
