Hello iwngpro and welcome to the community!

I think for what you are trying to do, an RTV Silicone Adhesive would work the best. There are also different epoxies you can find at the store, check the label and make sure it will work on all of the different materials involved, such as glass & wood.

Hi iwngpro,

When I executed this repair on the driver's door mirror, the glass had come free from the motor.

I used diagonal strips of exterior-rated double-stick tape and positioned them about 1/4-inch apart.

Since the repair, five-years ago, that vehicle has gone through the car wash numerous times and has been exposed to both high heat and freezing weather.

It shows no signs of letting go.

Give is a try and let The Community know what your think!
