katsply,

The paints for a manufactured home are going to be basically the same paints as used on any 'stick built" home.Whether the siding is t-111, Hardie Plank , vinyl siding, composition board or metal, acrylic housepaints, such as those by Behr and Glidden will work fine.

As with any paint job, preparation is very important. The surface should be  clean and free of mildew or algae. Peeling paint should be scrapped and the edges feather out with sandpaper. Any bare wood needs to be spot primed, either with a dedicated primer, or with one of the self-priming paints such as Behr's Ultra or Marquee. If really bad paint peeling conditions exist, a general priming might be in order.

If the siding is in otherwise good condition , a general priming may not be neccessary, unless the color change requires two coats. Even here, a dedicated primer is not neccessary if you are only facilitating a color change. 100% acrylic housepaints are perfectly capable of bonding to a sound existing paint job.

Hope this has helped.
