I took out a half wall on my stairway and want to replace it with handrail, wrought iron spindles and newell post using the systems sold at Home Depot. What is the sequence for setting the spindles in the top plate and rail and securing to the newell post and wall?

Greetings,
Welcome to our community. My name is Tom, known here as HD116 and there have been several posts that I and others in the community have done on Balusters and converting rails. To address your question the process would be to mount the newell post first, the wall plate, the rail and then the spindles.
For your convenience I will link to the other posts that I think you will find useful.

Hope that helps!
