I recently learned of a very interesting product that is coming out on the market that I think you'd all like to know about. It's a multi-tool of sorts that can be handy for both the novice DIY'er as well as those that may practically live in their garage workspaces = ) The Chamberlain company has come out with the Garage Power Station. (snazzy name eh?) But it does just that....it gives you the power to tackle multiple projects easily from within your garage, even it if it isn't decked out for a workspace already!
What I find really cool about it is that it combines three common use tools into one, making it simpler to use and easier than trying to dig through the garage clutter to find that one dedicated tool! It works as an air pump, work light and power strip all in one easy tool.
So this means no worrying about "do I own a bike pump? I coulda swore I had one around here.." and wasting your summer days digging through boxes and buckets to find one, as now you have one within reach at all times! Plus, the cord reaches out 25', so you have plenty of room to maneuver around and not have to worry about tangling up cords.
The design of it keeps it very simple and easy to store too, you just keep everything tucked away on the ceiling. Well, in a way so to speak...
The station itself is mounted onto the ceiling and your multi-tool retracts back into the dock when not in use. This is great because it doesn't take up space on the walls or floor that would otherwise be occupied and it instead uses space that honestly would just sort of sit there empty in most cases, right?
I think it's a fantastic idea because not only does it tuck away easily, but when you do need a tool, all you have to do is reach up and grab it! Oh, but the nicest thing about is that you can easily adjust the retracting height so that if by chance you're a bit on the shorter side like me, you don't have to reach for a step stool or pester your taller neighbor for help heh = )
What sort of projects and ideas can you put this tool to good use on? Would this come in handy for you on what you're working on right now? Check out the Garage Power Station using the link and share some ideas and comments about how you think this awesome tool could make your life easier, we'd love to hear them!~
