It’s time to have some fun with PVC.
I challenge all of you to post your favorite how to projects made out of PVC.
I’m going to start it off by making a Marshmallow shooter.
Tools needed: PVC cutter or saw
Tape measure
Sandpaper (to smooth the mouth piece)
The materials needed are: 2 – ½” 90 SxS Elbows
2 – ½” SxSxS TEEs
2 – ½” S Caps
24” of ½” Pipe
You will need to cut the pipe into: 3 – 3” long pieces
1 – 6” long piece
**You can modify the pieces to make it more comfortable for you to hold and shoot.**
Now that you have all of the materials needed all you have to do is smooth the mouth piece and assemble it. I don’t glue mine so I can easily take it apart to clean it.
If you don’t have that much blowing power or the little ones are having a hard time then you can stuff the 2 handles full of tissue or toilet paper and it will get a little easier.
Now put your safety glasses on and hold it pointing down and drop a small marshmallow into the mouth piece, aim and fire(blow). You’ll be surprised how accurate it can be.
Make sure that you don’t point it at anybody (at least anybody that is not a willing participant) and keep in mind that you should pick up all of the marshmallows that you shoot. They can attract ants and critters. My dog loves when we start playing with our shooters. It becomes a race to see who can get to the marshmallows first. She normally gets quite a few.![]()
Be safe and have fun.
Keep the fun going and post your PVC projects.
I can’t wait to see all of them.
