There are a few factors to take into consideration when picking the sight for your new greenhouse. Your greenhouse will need to get plenty of sunlight because most everything you can possibly grow prefers full sun. Because there are some things that prefer shade, you can supplement shade with a shade cloth but there is no real substitute for sun.
The south side of anything is always the sunniest side. If there are large trees or a house around, just be sure to be south of them. If south is not possible then the next best side would be the east side. East side allows the plants to at least get an early start on photosynthesis, allowing more time in the day to get it done before dark. West is next and North side is last.
You will want to also pick an area that gets good drainage and where water does not collect but rather runs off. This absence of moisture helps will help prevent disease and fungus along with an area that gets good air flow. Put your greenhouse on a raised area with a gravel floor to insure proper drainage.
Last thing is that you need to be sure to put it somewhere near a water source and possibly a power source, just incase you need to run a heater.
Click HERE to see all the greenhouses we carry. The best thing to do is to read the reviews on each one. These reviews come from the people who bought them. I learn a ton simply from these reviews.
