Hello - we replaced our kitchen faucet and now whenever we turn it on the water comes out looking foamy for the first few seconds. None of the other sinks do this.
Any thoughts?

Hello JackLeblond ,
Sometimes faucets can have a nature of its own, I’ve
installed a faucet once that sounded like an airplane
Foaming or loud noise it is usually a result of screen or flow restrictor blockage, see attached images.
Having said that this is a new faucet foaming is probably coming from sediments that were disturbed during new faucet installation. Plumbing system contains fair amount of sediments, especially hot water lines that sometimes can restrict or even block aerator. Once the system gets depressurized sediments and air flow back in to the system, accumulate in one spot and run for a touchdown after pressurized.
Another cause of foaming can be CNC lubrication inside of your new faucet that will get washed away.
Something else you should check is the aerator connection to the spot body, air after water can also create foaming in some instances.
Hope that helps and please follow up if problem persist.
