How do you repair the dishwasher overflow leaking under the cabinet? It doesn't appear to be the hose but perhaps the overflow and/or connection itself? How can we identify the source of the water leakage? This happens everytime the dishwasher is used. Is this a simple repair? Can you address the leaking issue without replacing the entire overflow assembly? It evidently has been leaking for a while. FYI - This is a new apartment for my son and the landlord prefers we take care of the issue and bill him.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE MOUNTING SCREWS ON THE UNIT AND SLIDE THE UNIT OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE COUNTER . WATER LEAKS ARE EASY DETECTED BY WATER MARKS AND WET AREAS AROUND FITTINGS AND HOSES. IF YOU CAN NOT DETECT , BITE THE BULLET AND CALL A PROFESSIONAL APPLIANCE REPAIR TECH. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE HIM COME IN THAN PAY FOR WATER DAMAGE THE UNIT COULD CAUSE.
