On The 29th of October I bought The subject Fan, I went to install it today and I'm having some serious issues. I have a single Pole Switch at The wall outlet with power ,I have power at The ceiling electrical box and power to The receiver, but The remote and receiver are not responding. I'll try a few more things tonight, but if it doesn't work, I'm returning it for a refund. The Hot black wire, The with , and the ground are connected correctly, The black and white from The receiver are connected to The black and white from The ceiling. The white, black and blue from The receiver are connected correctly to The motor, but still no response.

Two things to check. First, are the remote and receiver on the same frequency. Pull the battery cover off the remote and verify the four little switches are in the same position as those on the receiver. Second, pull the chains (one time) on both the light and fan and then retry the remote. If all your connections are correct and tight the unit will come on. If not, then you have a defective unit. Good luck.

Hello motownnc and adjuster919 and welcome to The Community! We are glad that you have joined the discussions.
The Bryant fan is beautiful and the reversible blades are an added decor detail. I agree with adjuster919 that the frequencies need to be the same. Are there any other ceiling fans (and their respective remotes) nearby that may affect the frequency of this unit?
I also suggest that you contact the Hampton Bay Customer Service team directly at 1-877-527-0313 (select option 2) for fastest assistance on installing your new ceiling fan. We want to make sure that you are satisfied with your fan and the installation goes smoothly.
Best wishes and thank you both for joining our discussions. Please keep us posted on your progress.
