Hello. I purchased this fan today to replace a fan in my house. I got the new Hampton Bay fan ball assembly to fit into the existing mounting bracket connected to the outlet box but when I tried to fit the canopy assembly to the ceiling, the current mounting bracket is too wide. So the canopy will not go up to the ceiling. Is there a way to replace the mounting bracket without replacing the outlet box? I was hoping there was a mounting bracket for this fan included in the box but there is not.
