I recently installed two fan in my patio lanai. I connected the new cable to a light switch in the kitchen. . The wires that come from the breaker box are #14 which mean the breaker is 15 amp. I extended this 14/2 wire with a 12/2 wire. Should i be concern?

No there is no problem at all, The 15 amp breaker will still protect the wire.
No worries
