Has your deck lost it's appeal? The wood turning gray, and cracking? The paint pealing? Repairing it can be a real chore. The Home Depot Answer Man shows you a new simple to use product to restore and refinish your deck, that will make it look like new.

Hi Capttrim,
Restore is dry to the touch in 6 hours, and can be recoated after 8 hours. Once dry it is animal safe.
I hope this answers your question

Hi Johnnydogs326,
You may use Restore over a previously painted surface. Just make sure the surface is clean, dry and solid with no loose or pealing paint. Sand the surface and wash it before applying Restore Refinisher.
I hope this answers your question.
