Do you wish that the rooms where you spend most of your time were cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than other rooms in your home?

Will you be converting unused space over the garage, the attic, or possibly the basement into a new bedroom or efficiency apartment?

Is your home’s new addition or sunroom in need of climate control?

If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” then consider adding a ductless mini-split system to your home.

Space and Energy Efficient

The space-saving design means easy and unobtrusive installation.  A wide range of whisper-quiet indoor systems are available.  You use the exact amount of energy needed to maintain comfort.  There is a wide range in capacity and size – from single units up to eight room multi-zone systems.  The Mitsubishi  Electric Cooling & Heating system is more energy efficient than a traditional HVAC system and up to 40% more efficient than window units.  Many systems are ENERGY STAR® qualified and eligible for federal and state tax credits as well as local utility rebates.

Environmentally Friendly

The Mitsubishi Electric ductless mini-split won the coveted 2009 GREEN PRODUCT award. The dual and triple-allergen filtration actually cleans the air you breathe. Particulates and contaminants are removed from the air with continuous fan operation for better air circulation. The large hybrid catechin pre-filters absorbs odor-causing gases and last up to 10 years.  A blue-enzyme anti-allergen filter helps reduce germs, bacteria, and viruses and traps dust, pollens, mites, and other particles that plague allergy sufferers.  Select systems have a Platinum Deodorizing filter for highly effective odor absorption.

 Easy to Operate and Maintain

Simply set the temperature for each room with an easy-to-use controller.  The indoor Mitsubishi Electric systems operate as low as 19 dB – quieter than a human whisper.  Maintenance is also simple: open the indoor unit's filter access and slide the screens out.  Wash off and allow them to dry completely.  Then slide them back into the unit.
