A common declaration I hear each spring is, "I didn't think that color would be so bright! In the sunshine my deck looks bright orange!"
So, "What color-filled event shocks customers each spring?" I would say decks stained with gallon-size samples of colors that didn't work out.
The next question I hear is, "Can I cover it?"
There is a simple solution that can prevent this annual spring event and it costs just a few dollars ... sample containers of stain in both solid-color and semi-transparent.
Large enough to give you a good look at the color, but small enough that it is easy to change.
This spring, instead of randomly applying gallons of stain colors that you "think will work," ask your Paint Associate to make several samples of colors you like. Apply the samples to inconspicuous areas and then look at them in the morning, at midday, and in evening light.
You'll be surprised how much easier your decision will be!
